Ordering

You can order online 24 hours a day or mail in your order. Online orders processed are through a secure connection. Please call peggydewitt.com at 613-476-1099 Ontario Canada, if you have questions or special requests.

Ordering Online
We strive to make ordering at www.peggydewitt.com as quick and easy as possible. You've browsed our merchandise selections or used Product Search to find what you are looking for. Checkout is even easier. When you've found the item you would like to purchase, click on "Add to Basket" and follow the instructions below:

1. Review Order
   You are now on the shopping basket page. Here, you can review the entire list of items you have placed in your basket, and view information about each item. You can make some changes to your order here, such as changing the quantity for individual items, or removing an item from your basket. If you make any changes to your order, click the "Click here to save any changes made above" button to see your revised total. If you wish to continue shopping, click the "Continue Shopping" button. If you are finished selecting items click the "Checkout" button and proceed with step 2.
   
2. Continue Shopping or Check out
   You are now at the Review Orders page. If you have shopped before at this site, and selected the option to “save my information for future purchases”, the contact information in the shopping cart will be automatically completed (if you are using the same computer). www.peggydewitt.com is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers. 3. Order Summary
   You are now on the Order Summary page. Here, you can review your total order for accuracy and make any last-minute changes. This is also your last chance to cancel your order before we process the charges. You will be asked to enter your billing information. You also have the opportunity to add special shipping instructions. If you wish to ship your order as a gift, you can tell us on this page by clicking the "yes" button. Click the "complete order" button to complete the transaction. Once you have selected your preferred mode of delivery, click the "continue" button to get to the Order Summary page.
   
4. Order Confirmation
   You are now on the Order Confirmation page. Here, you are given a summary of your order, including your order number. You will receive 2 email confirmations from www.peggydewitt.com. Firstly, we will confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering; secondly, we will notify you when your order has been shipped.

Order Status

peggydewitt.com will confirm orders received. Please contact us at to check the status of your order. Orders are shipped within days of receipt. As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification.

Pricing

All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable sales tax or delivery. Shipping & applicable taxes are calculated by the shopping cart before you check out.

Payment Options

peggydewitt.com accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards for online orders. Merchandise will be shipped upon verification of payment.

Sales Tax

peggydewitt.com charges sales tax for products ordered on this internet site based on the applicable combined federal and provincial sales tax rate of the location to which the order is being shipped. All provinces except New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland have 6% G.S.T (Goods & Services Tax) added to all orders. The following Provinces have P.S.T (Provincial Sales Tax) added to all orders: British Columbia (7.5% PST); Saskatchewan (6% PST); Manitoba (7% PST); Ontario (8% PST); Prince Edward Island (10% PST). New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland have 15% H.S.T (Harmonized Sales Tax) added to all orders. Quebec has 7.5% Q.S.T. (Quebec Sales Tax) added to all orders.

Shipping

When will orders be shipped?
Items in stock will be shipped from Picton, Ontario Canada within 2 - 3 days from the order confirmation date. If an item is not in stock you will be informed of approximate delivery date; depending on size of order, allow 2 - 3 weeks.

How will orders be shipped?
All orders will be properly packaged to insure no damage occurs during shipping.

Canadian Orders
Orders will be shipped via Canada Post unless otherwise requested. Delivery time is 4 - 7 days from the shipping date. Handling and shipping price is $10.00 for each order destination.

International Orders
For all orders outside of Canada, please e-mail us at with your shipping address and we will respond with the appropriate shipping charge for your destination country. Please note that you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country so please contact your local customs office for further information.

Our Gift Service is an easy way to send gifts to family and friends living out of town. peggydewitt.com will ship your order to the person receiving the gift. Your gift will arrive with the price tag removed. When placing your 'gift' order on www.peggydewitt.com, choose the 'Gift Checkout' option from your Shopping Basket, or place your 'gift' order by phone. Sales tax is charged according to the province or territory to which the gift is shipped.

Returns

We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase, but if you are not, please help us to help you by returning the merchandise in a reasonable time in the original packaging (at your expense) with the bill of sale.

My Credit Card
Am I liable for charges that I don't make? We guarantee that every transaction you make at peggydewitt.com will be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at peggydewitt.com. Banks will typically cover all unauthorized charges made on their cards, although they may charge you a $50 deductible. It is always a good idea to check with the institution that issued your card to find out exactly what your liability is.
